I love this! This is excellent and a really good tribute to Chipzel. I faved it so hard ;)

Zanzlanz responds:

Thank you very much! It means a lot coming from you :)

I'm here! I like it! The only thing is the voice acting. It's a bit odd, kinda doesn't fit in.

I feel that it would make an excellent bgm for a future-themed puzzle game or something.

Zanzlanz responds:

Thanks for reviewing Pitfall!
I feel like the voice helps add a certain mood to it, but I know what you mean by it not exactly fitting :)

Wow. This sounds very different than most dubstep I've heard but that's a good thing.

Change can be wonderful.

CowardlyLion responds:

I try to sound different! Thanks for listening, glad I made something that could change things up.

Dance or Trance. For some reason a LOT of peeps get those two mixed up with techno.

Also this song is very fun and dancy. I like it!

Lockyn responds:

I'm not too sure about trance, as most I've heard have very heavy basslines. I'll change it to dance :)

Thanks so much for reviewing! FUNDANCEFUNDANCE haha

Okay, well in music there's what's called a drop. Yours came in at 1:45. That's too long for an intro to a 4 min song, usually. However, the actual dance part of the song is quite fun, as well as catchy. You have good fills at the ends of your loop sets, but you probably need more drum fills to have variety. Maybe for the ending you might even wanna add an echo to the end of the song.

Also, you probably shouldn't put this in the techno genre, it's fine with tags, but I'd say that it's more dance. than anything, maybe a hint of trance. Trance-dance? Whatever. Decent song, I'd say, though.

7/10 :)

killapickle1 responds:

thanks, i appreciate the criticism :). i think the reason why i tend to do long intros is because i have listened to (and played) rock music quite a bit and a lot of rock songs tend to have longer intros. songs like cliffs of dover for example. its more a personal preference for me to have long intros so i can understand it when someone who has listened to electronic music for awhile would be put off a bit by it (since electronic songs tend to have 30-45 second intros). thanks again for the criticism, it is well appreciated :)

Love dis

Thanks for the review!

This... is... well... um... I'm at a loss for words. SO AMAZING I LOVE IT

(also check my music out if you like)

NocturneLabs responds:

haha, thank you :) I will definitely take a look at some of your stuff. I see you do 8-bit and chiptune! As you can probably tell I'm experimenting with working that in with some dubstep elements in my own work :D

Loops really well, like any of your stuff. ;)

Although it doesn't really sound like a piano... Not sure really what it sounds like though...

I would know, I've played piano for 5 years.

IBelisarius responds:

It's a synth piano. :3

Cool!

NGKFlower responds:

Thanks!
