This song sounds like something used in a portal montage... Just sayin :O

Zanzlanz responds:

Portal? The game? I never spent time to listen to the soundtracks. But that wouldn't be the first time someone mentioned Portal with my music ;o

This is very Biocide! So happy for a new one! :D

TheBiocide responds:

I'm happy you're feelin' it! Thanks, buddy!

I 'm not sure if there's any trace of chipstep in here... Just chiptune, really, just sayin.

Good song, nonetheless ;D

wandschrank responds:

Yeah I reposted this to the chipstep category when everyone started posting their chiptune stuff there. There is one drop with a "dirty bass" in the middle of the song, though. It's just not very intense! ;D

.. and I will post some new chipstep stuff soon. Thanks for your review!

This is pretty goooood, man! :) Keep it up!

DjAbbic responds:

TheBiocide responds:

No money necessary ;)

Cheers, buddy!

Wow! The middle part especially made me picture a cave or pipe-laden area in "Castle Crashers".

It's pretty good, I'd say!

Keep it up! :)

Theodenrex responds:

Thank You :)

This is very electronica. I think it's catchy, and I like the variations in the song as it progresses.

However, and while this can be good at sometimes, the notes that didn't go well together were a bit too frequent. Same goes for the drum fills and breaks.
Everything in moderation.

Also, I think the solo around 4:00 felt empty at first. Maybe just another sub-bass in the background just for something to fill the emptiness? Idk.

Regardless, it's still a fun song, so I gives it ze 4.5 out of ze 5. Ju liek? :3

Zanzlanz responds:

Thank you for your detailed review!
I didn't notice clashing harmonization, but that's probably because my 'instruments' are quite static-like. I generally try and avoid that though. Perhaps it was an issue with my cord progression conversion from G to F....
As for the solo, I actually did have another bass going while in development, but I didn't like it. A sub-bass would go well though, so I'll consider that for future projects.
Thanks for the 4.5, Pitfall :D
