Dammit I keep thinking that I can walk through the chains. Please fix this. :) Thx

Comacolors responds:

I'm afraid making it possible to pass through all the chains would break every level, but I suppose they were an odd choice for a solid barrier. I guess I just thought they looked cool :P

I'm inclined to keep them this way for the rest of the Ghost Light games for the sake of consistency, but I don't have any plans to use chains like that in any games after. I hope it didn't mess up your experience too much.

Thank you for the input :)

This game is decent. :)

The floor not moving at the same speed as the floor obstacles, or any of the obstacles for that matter, bothers me a lot for some reason. I agree with the checkpoint. As for the General, I think that the sliding should go down more, as well as lowering the slide obstacle, so that it seems more necessary to do so. Also, it would probably be better to make the ground flat, and not sort of parallaxed. Speaking of parallax, the backgrounds are fine, although you might want to make them more pixely, as per GG, and definitely want to change the background color schematics so not to distract from the obstacles and/or make them hard to see. Maybe make the whole game speed faster by a bit, depending on the turnout of the game (if or when changes are made), as the slowness makes the attention toward the game dwindle more as the seconds go by.

Really good for a stencyl game though. All I've made is a crappy snake game with two levels, so yeah...

My favorite level is the second one. ;)

3DS, plz

Nothing that's new about this except that the controls are isometric, which is still pretty annoying.

Good game! There are some problems, though:

Even if you die at the very end, you still start from the beggining, which gets frustrating. Maybe add checkpoints? or less lengthy rooms. Also, rather than just blowing stuff up, you might want to make the game more centered around the bombs, like what else can you do with them? Just blow stuff up. Yup. Hate to say it, but even blowing stuff up gets old. Make it do new things. Maybe make a sequel or something to expand on this? Also, the music is EXTREMELY repetitive, which is good ususally, but, it doesn't even loop correctly, which always bothers me a TON.

Thanks, thats all for now.

Jellonator00 responds:

There is a tidbit of code in there that gives bombs knockback on yourself, I was going to implement puzzles using this but bombs do enough damage to make hard mode impossible. Also as for the music, blame our composer he's a lazy butt.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback. We may create a sequel in the future, but instead we're going to use C++ instead, due to several issues the game has as it currently stands(e.g. the music).

Okay so I just sat there one level, and I immediately got 1000 points. Also, why is the Psy guy not there until you grab onto the sling? And, you just so happened to be combining my 2 lest fcking favorite things ever. Good job.

This is kind of copying geomtery wars...

Cool music though
